Airport Engineer plans, designs and lays out airports and landing fields. Oversees the construction work involved in leveling fields, laying out and surfacing runways. Being an Airport Engineer requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Airport Engineer relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.     Job Description (The awesome work you’ll get to do):
    • Work in a team environment and contribute to our civil engineering projects – on airports!
    • “Go-to” resource for project, technical, and construction management of various projects; you will work on projects from the planning through permitting and construction phases
    • Lead civil engineering projects, including airfield, infrastructure, and facility projects for clients in the commercial and private airport sectors.


    Job Requirements (The awesome experience you bring):
    • Professional Engineer (PE) in Civil Engineering required
    • B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering school
    • Minimum of 4-10 years of civil engineering / land development / project management experience
    • Ability to lead and consult on client projects
    • Familiarity with design processes in airport/road design, site design, plan production, construction, and survey preferred, but not required
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong presentation skills
    • Familiarity with contract document preparation and cost estimating Ability to work in a team collaborating and partnering on projects
