Being an Airport Engineer requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Airport Engineer relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. - Utilize CAD software to create detailed schematics and blueprints; familiarity with Inventor
3D is a plus. - Conduct thorough testing and analysis to ensure safety and performance standards are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and marketing to bring projects to fruition.
- Assist in creating Bills of Materials (BOM) and related prints to streamline manufacturing processes.
- Work closely with manufacturing, purchasing, and vendors to integrate new and current products successfully.
- Coordinate with suppliers to source materials and components, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Proven experience in product design and development, preferably in the recreational vehicle industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software, especially SolidWorks or AutoCAD; knowledge of Inventor 3D is advantageous and proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
