Airport Engineer plans, designs and lays out airports and landing fields. Oversees the construction work involved in leveling fields, laying out and surfacing runways. Being an Airport Engineer requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Airport Engineer relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.     Qualifications

     

    • Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited University.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in management.
    • Two plus years in the Travel & Leisure industry a plus.
    • Demonstrated leadership skills managing team members in a year-round 24/7 environment, including interviewing, hiring/firing, counseling/coaching, and scheduling.
    • Proactive, assertive, and goal-oriented with a sense of urgency.
    • Ability to propose innovative ideas and navigate obstacles effectively.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, fostering connections and collaboration to achieve objectives.
    • Effective persuasion and motivation skills, considering diverse perspectives.
    • Collaborative approach with intuitive understanding of team dynamics and interpersonal relations.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure exceptional service for customers by maintaining 5–7-minute pick up times, ensuring ease of operation, and facilitating expeditious exits. Engage with customers, address concerns, and resolve issues effectively.
    • Oversee cashier, dispatch, valet, and driver operations to ensure smooth traffic flow and maintain high service standards. Conduct regular bus timing surveys to meet service requirements.
    • Support staffing needs through scheduling, training, and development of team members.
    • Manage break and meal periods for non-exempt staff.
    • Foster positive employee relations and cultivate a harmonious work environment.
    • Maintain facility and vehicle appearance through regular inspections.
    • Implement standards to address organizational and staffing changes.
    • Participation in Budgeting, forecasting and P&L Optimization by monitoring staffing, Fixed and variable expenses while insuring revenue maximization.
    • Work collectively with all administrative departments as needed.
