Being an Airport Engineer requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Airport Engineer relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The job duties include:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document them
- Perform vehicle inspections and identify necessary repairs or maintenance
- Provide customers with detailed explanations of recommended services and associated costs
- Generate repair orders and schedule appointments for service
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Upsell additional services or products as appropriate
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions

- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems

- Familiarity with tire service, brake repair, shocks, struts, and transmission is desired
