Job Summary:

TGG bartenders at HVN Airport are responsible for providing excellent customer service while taking orders, making recommendations based on guest preferences, upselling and maintaining a clean and sanitized area. To be successful in this role, a bartender should enjoy working with others while delivering great guest experiences always keeping the bar clean and stocked. Tipped position.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests quickly and pleasantly, with a smile
• Educate guests on menu items; make recommendations to guests upon request
• Prepare and pour beer & wine and other mix drinks
• Mix ingredients for all drinks, including cocktails, to TGG specifications
• Enter orders into the Clover POS system
• Follow TGG cash handling and cash register policies and procedures
• Keep a spotless working environment through regular cleaning and sanitizing
• Assist in the training and development of new employees
• Communicate any product runouts, equipment issues, or quality of service problems to Management immediately
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience:

• Previous experience as a Bartender or in the food service industry is required
• Must have extensive bartending skills, including cocktails and specialty drinks, plus strong product knowledge
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• TIPS certified ideally or become within 90 days of employment
• SERVSafe Certificatified or become within 30 days of being hired
• Must be experienced and able to serve and prepare food
• Fully conversational in English
• Able to lift 35 lbs. in weight
• Must be mobile and able to stand for extended periods, to stoop, kneel, and crouch
• Must be available to work varied hours/days, including weekends, holidays, and harsh weather conditions.
• Knowledge of POS systems, Clover ideally
• Willingness to be subject to a background check by the Airport Authority to obtain a badge

Pay rate: starting at $16 per hour plus tips
