Duties:
AIMRIGHT is currently seeking individuals for full-time Construction Materials Testing Technician positions in our Tulsa office.
The job duties will require daily travel in a company provided truck to perform field testing, inspection, and observations of soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, mortar, asphalt, and reinforcing steel for construction on residential, retail, commercial, industrial, and municipal construction projects throughout Oklahoma.
Daily lifting of 25 to 100 pounds of equipment/materials will be required. Repetitive standing, stooping, squatting, bending, kneeling, and walking will be required daily during early morning hours through later afternoon hours in extremely cold and hot weather conditions throughout the year. Normal hours of work will generally be between 6am and 5pm. However, this position will require NIGHT shift work as well as some WEEKEND workdays. Your daily schedule can change from day to day, and you must be able to accommodate a flexible working schedule.
Personnel must have the aptitude of learning how to read/interpret construction drawings and specifications. Must be capable of communicating with construction site personnel in a professional and safe manner.
Qualifications:
Previous Construction Materials Testing experience of at least 1 year is preferred but not necessary. We are seeking candidates with or have the ability to obtain ACI, DOT, NICET, PTI or other industry certifications. Clean MVR, and at minimum, a High School Diploma is a must.
