Airport Engineer plans, designs and lays out airports and landing fields. Oversees the construction work involved in leveling fields, laying out and surfacing runways. Being an Airport Engineer requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Airport Engineer relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Airport Drayage Company Inc., (ADC) is a local airfreight pickup, transport, and delivery-company with a presence in the Pacific Northwest since 1959. Family owned and operated, ADC currently operating with approx. 60 employees, 50 Tractors/Straight trucks (NEWER AND WELL MAINTAINED VEHICLES!) with terminals in Portland, OR (Hq.); Salem, OR; and Tumwater, WA.
Transporting general freight via containers and/or 53’ dry vans for dedicated customers. Work is predominantly container dray but could also consist of LTL dry van routes as well.
Shift: Starting time: 6:00 AM (may vary by an hour or two due to appointment times), Monday thru Friday. RETURN HOME DAILY possible weekend work if available
