Under the direction of the Assistant Vice President for University Advancement and Alumni Engagement, the Director, Alumni Engagement creates, fosters, and maximizes meaningful opportunities for alumni engagement and connects alumni with each other, current/prospective students, faculty, and staff. The Director oversees and assists with a volunteer management program that includes regional alumni networks, an Alumni Advisory Council, and specific affinity-based volunteer and chapter programs. On an annual basis, the Director implements over 40 Alumni Engagement online or in-person events and programs, including Homecoming, reunions, meetings, and lectures. The Director will partner with other campus departments and offices, including Enrollment Management, Career Connections, Academic Support Services, Student Life, Athletics, and Conference Services to strengthen alumni relationships, volunteer opportunities and engagement. Work is performed under general supervision and performance evaluation is based upon completion of assignments and results obtained. The performance evaluation is conducted through the performance evaluation system and in accordance with the University Policies & Procedures.

Bachelor's degree in a related field is required. Master's degree strongly preferred. At least three years of successful, progressively responsible experience in higher education alumni engagement or university advancement is required.
Regular and reliable attendance during regular scheduled days and work hours is an essential function of this position.
May complete some or all work remotely upon approval via the university's Alternative Work Arrangement Policy.
