The Lundquist College of Business is seeking a dynamic team member to lead alumni engagement and work with key stakeholders internally and externally. This is a new role for the college and has the potential for creative and innovative approaches that help strengthen relationships with alumni. The work of this role will be a key component of the overall approach to create a broad and expansive experience for our students and strengthen connections with alumni and donors who wish to be more engaged.
The Associate Director of Alumni Engagement is responsible for implementing the College’s strategic vision for strengthening Lundquist’s relationships with the College’s alumni through comprehensive engagement, volunteer programs, dedicated events, and other activities. Key constituencies to engage in this role include alumni, industry and corporate partners, recruiters, donors, members of the Lundquist Advisory Board, members of the 40-under-40 Board, and the Black Alumni Network. This position's purpose is to provide important professional connections for our students with alumni and build and strengthen lifelong connections between alumni, students, and the College.
Reporting to the Executive Director of Corporate and Alumni Engagement, and partnering with the Executive Director of Development, the incumbent will work to facilitate the engagement of alumni with our Lundquist faculty and students, including developing and delivering student-centered programs and events that establish, strengthen, and support alumni engagement. Focus will be given to matching alumni to various engagement opportunities that may include guest lecture opportunities, projects for courses, and mentoring of our students. The Associate Director will document, curate, and cultivate the engagement interests of our alumni, and then pair that with fruitful and positive engagement opportunities with our Lundquist faculty and students. The Associate Director will also inform and encourage engagement with alumni by our faculty and students.
The Associate Director will have fully supervisory responsibilities for the Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement.
