Initially organized to address the issues over representation of minorities in the juvenile justice system. Our services are designed to work with runaway, tru-ant, and ungovernable youth and their families by increasing social and life management skills, academic success and self-worth aware-ness. We expanded to respond to issues of Family Reunification Services, Prevention, Emergency Food Pantry, Parenting and Neigh-borhood Empowerment. Since inception, our focus has been on the needs of disadvantaged youth and the families in the inner city of Fort Lauder-dale and Broward County as a whole. Prevention Central is essential, and continues to "Build Families and Change Lives"!
