Alumni Relations Officer develops alumni interest and support of the university/college. Assists in creating and broadening alumni programs and in planning large reunion and/or homecoming events. Being an Alumni Relations Officer may oversee a group of volunteers/support staff. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Alumni Relations Officer typically reports to a director. The Alumni Relations Officer works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. Responsibilities: • Greet and acknowledge all customers • Assist customers with locating merchandise • Fold, size, and replenish merchandise • Assist in cleaning the store, cash wrap, and fitting rooms • Assist in merchandise displays • Communicate with the management staff any customer requests/concerns • Operate the cash register by ringing up customer sales • Develop a working knowledge of collegiate sports and local university activities
Qualifications: • Must be 18 years or older • Must be able to work a schedule based upon the business needs – including holidays, nights, and weekends.
