JOB DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES
Under general supervision of the Senior Accounting Officer (Supervisor), the Accounting Officer (Specialist) is responsible of performing professional accounting duties in the General Ledger - Federal Unit. The incumbent analyzes, reviews, identifies and performs various complex fiscal activities and reports from the Financial Information System of California (FI$Cal) and other source documentations in compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines.
This position is located in: Sacramento
The duties of this position are performed in a standard office setting with artificial light and temperature control in a three-story building with elevator access. Telework is available with departmental approval. Requires prolonged use operating standard office equipment including the use of a computer keyboard, mouse, calculator and telephone, and interaction with co-workers.
Telework Information: This position is eligible for remote-centered hybrid telework up to three days per week; the other two days per week are in the office for hands-on training and team meetings.
