City Ambulance Service is seeking applications for non emergent wheel chair van drivers. The job entitles the applicant to transport patients and family members to and from Dr. appointments and when needed using a wheel chair van.
We are looking for team members who are willing to drive a company vehicle and assist patients in transport throughout Odessa/Midland/Andrews, Texas region.
Duties:
- Safely operate a van, to transport patients to their designated locations
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Load and unload patients with a wheelchair
- Maintain cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks on assigned vehicles
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from passengers or clients
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of yourself, passengers, and other road users
Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, or in a similar role
- Ability to communicate effectively with passengers and clients
- Strong knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic patterns
- Ability to navigate using GPS systems or maps
- Excellent time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting when required
- Outstanding customer service skills to provide a positive experience for passengers
