Qualifications/Educational Requirements:  

Hourly Position: 

1. Paramedic certification, preferred with Critical Care Paramedic Endorsement in the State of Iowa for at least 2 years or obtained within 1 year. 
2. AHA HCP CPR and ACLS preferred
3. Knowledge of EMS Standards of Practice required.
4. Significant experience writing patient care reports required.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Speak, read, write and comprehend English.
6. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
7. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
8. Emergency Vehicle Driving Safety Course preferred.
9. Minimum of two years of management/supervisory experience.
10. Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to pediatric and adult populations in a transfer situation.
11. Excellent oral and written skills. Excels in detail to attention
12. Demonstrate organizational and leadership skills.
13. Instructor level BLS, ACLS, PALS, and other certifications per request of CEO/DOO
14. Excel and Word proficient
15. Motivated and self-sufficient. Self-starter. Team player
16. Professional demeanor and appearance.
17. Instructor status in CPR, ACLS and PALS must be maintained or obtained within 6 months of hire.
