Ambulatory Services Director directs the staff and programs of the ambulatory services department. Oversees, administers, and coordinates all activities and operations of the ambulatory services for the health care facility, including outpatient clinics, outpatient surgery, and urgent care centers. Being an Ambulatory Services Director develops and introduces approved standards and guidelines for ambulatory services and programs. Maintains working relationships with community agencies. Additionally, Ambulatory Services Director ensures non-emergency care clinics operate within budget and in accordance with performance standards. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Ambulatory Services Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Ambulatory Oncology Pharmacy Technician

    $5,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

    SCHEDULE: (0.6 FTE) 24 hrs per week.

    The Acute Care Pharmacy Tech II performs duties relating to the filling and dispensing of unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to the nursing units and other ancillary departments in a prompt accurate manner. Fill/dispense oral and IV medications, triaging patient orders and maintaining the integrity of the automated dispensing system (ADS)

    Required qualification:

    • H.S. Diploma or GED
    • Required upon hire: Washington Pharmacy Technician License
    • Minimum of one year (> 2080 clock hours) of pharmacy practice in an integrated health system and current PTCB certification - OR - 2 years (>4160 hours) hospital pharmacy if not PTCB certified

    Preferred qualification:

    • Graduation from a Pharmacy Tech program approved by the WA State Board of Pharmacy.
    • Preferred Specialty certification (e.g. ACPE approved sterile compounding certification) preferred where applicable by role and state
    • Previous experience with Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) and electronic health records (EHR)
