Ambulatory Services Director directs the staff and programs of the ambulatory services department. Oversees, administers, and coordinates all activities and operations of the ambulatory services for the health care facility, including outpatient clinics, outpatient surgery, and urgent care centers. Being an Ambulatory Services Director develops and introduces approved standards and guidelines for ambulatory services and programs. Maintains working relationships with community agencies. In accordance with the Mission, Vision, Values and Leadership Expectations set forth by HealthSource Saginaw (HSS) and any applicable federal, state and/or regulatory statues/guidelines, the Director of Clinical Services is responsible for performing a wide range of inpatient care activities for assigned patients, program development, and provides quality assurance reviews of the Therapists/Social Workers in the inpatient Behavioral Medicine program. This position supervises all Inpatient Therapists, Social Workers, Recreational Therapists, Occupational Therapist and the adolescent educational services. This position reports to the Program Executive for Behavioral Medicine.
