Animal Groomer and Bather jobs in Elkhart, IN

MUST LIVE IN LAGRANGE COUNTY, BE 25 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER, AND HAVE A RELIABLE VEHICLE

Responsibilities:
- Enforce animal control laws and regulations within the jurisdiction
- Respond to calls and complaints regarding stray, injured, or aggressive animals
- Capture and safely handle animals using appropriate techniques and equipment
- Provide medical care and treatment to injured or sick animals
- Investigate cases of animal cruelty or neglect
- Educate the public on responsible pet ownership and animal welfare
- Maintain accurate records of animal control activities

Skills:
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and effectively
- Experience in pet sitting, dog handling, kennel work, or pet grooming a plus
- Strong customer service skills for interacting with the public
- Ability to assess and respond to potentially dangerous situations involving animals
- Some knowledge of dog training techniques and behavior management

Availability:

- On call Saturday at Noon until Tuesday at Noon. You must stay in the county during this time.

- Ark Animal Rescue & Adoption is open 365 days of the year.
