Animal Groomer and Bather jobs in Greenville, MS

CARES Animal Shelter is Hiring Animal Caretakers immediately. Schedule varies each week, including some weekends and holidays. Must like animals, move quickly, and be able to follow directions and multitask. It’s rewarding work! Cute animals! But this is a physical position requiring you to bend, stoop and lift up to 50 lbs. You must be able to work as a team with other staff/volunteers in a fast-paced, sometimes hectic environment and have a strong commitment to animal welfare. Positive attitude and attention to detail is a MUST. References required. Must also have reliable transportation and a working cell phone. There are paper applications outside of the shelter in the mailbox that are required to be hired. You can get one there at any time of day and put the completed application back in the mailbox on Desoto Avenue.

All candidates must be 18 , possess a valid driver’s license (or state ID), have reliable transportation, have a positive work ethic, be drug free, able to work effectively under high stress, and handle an emotionally and physically demanding work environment. PLEASE NOTE: must pass a background check.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week

Day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends

Shift:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Work setting:

• In-person
