Animal Groomer and Bather jobs in New Britain, CT

Responsibilities:
- Provide professional pet grooming services to clients' pets, including bathing, brushing, haircuts, and nail trims.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all pets during the grooming process.
- Handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments with care and compassion.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their specific grooming requests.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or questions from pet owners.
- Assist with other tasks related to animal care as needed.

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a pet groomer or in a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of different dog breeds and their specific grooming needs.
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality grooming services.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing.
- Certification or training in pet grooming is a plus.
- Experience as a veterinary assistant, veterinary technician, or in dog training is beneficial.
