Old Dominion Animal Hospital Charlottesville is seeking an outgoing Animal Care Attendant to join our growing team! We are a privately owned, family friendly hospital offering top-notch wellness, medical, surgical, and dental care for dogs and cats. Our hospital is located on the corner of Preston Avenue and Rose Hill Drive in beautiful downtown Charlottesville. We are looking for team members that have the ability to provide our clients with an amazing experience every visit, as we strive to provide the best patient care and client communication around. We are looking for an enthusiastic applicant who can greet every client with a smile and works equally as well with co-workers. You must love animals AND people! The ability to be organized, multitask, be self-motivated and take initiative with a strong attention to detail is required.
Our Animal Care Attendants provide daily care and are the backbone of the hospital. This is long term permanent position with room to grow and applicants should be career-seeking. Previous veterinary or animal/shelter experience is a bonus, but we are happy to train the right candidate! We are looking for a candidate that is able to work 30 hours/week.

Occasionally handle dogs weighing up to and over 150 pounds. Assistance will be provided by Veterinary Assistants when working with larger animals.
