Shelter From the Storm Animal Rescue, a non-profit 501c3 organization, is looking for a couple of dedicated people to join our team as Animal Caretakers!
The person we are looking for has to be a self-starter who is capable of working in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable with dogs and cats of all sizes. An Animal Caretaker is responsible for cleaning dog/cat kennels, letting dogs out to potty, feeding and giving medications, cleaning up behind the dogs outside, and general housekeeping chores such as dishes and laundry as needed. We need someone who is responsible, caring, dependable, and a team player who is able to work independently.
This is a permanent year-round position so people who are able to work long-term and have a flexible schedule will get first consideration.
