Animal Scientist conducts research, and analyzes and experiments on the selection, breeding, feeding, management, and marketing of animals. Determines and evaluates their applications to scientific study. Being an Animal Scientist requires a degree in animal science. May be expected to have an advanced degree in area of specialty with 0-2 years of experience. Additionally, Animal Scientist has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Position: Clinical Laboratory Scientist - Weekend Program 2/4
Shift: 7:00am-7:00pm Two out of Four Weekends per Month, Saturday & Sunday
Experience:
1. Must have skills necessary to perform procedures contained in the laboratory procedure manual, including specimen processing, test performance and reporting test results.
2. Demonstrated communication, organization, and prioritization skills required.
3. Previous laboratory computer system experience preferred.
Education:
1. Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician program or related field
2. Equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Licensures/Certifications:
MLT (ASCP) or equivalent certification preferred.Additional Information - Make an Impact! Are you a weekend warrior?
