The Gardiner Animal Hospital is a family owned mixed animal practice located in the Hudson Valley. We are looking for a full-time reliable employee to work day and weekend shifts.
Responsibilities would include feeding, bathing, walking, caring for and cleaning the cages of patients and boarders. You would also be responsible for restraining animals for appointments and surgery prep as well as restocking exam rooms, doing laundry and cleaning the hospital. Our ideal candidate needs to be able to lift dogs over 40 pounds, work cooperatively with others and take direction from staff members as well as being able to multitask in a fast paced environment. Experience in animal handling isn't required but is helpful. Training is provided if needed.
