Kennel Worker/Animal Caretaker
We are searching for dedicated, friendly, caring individuals to assist with the day-to-day care of our animals while they are waiting for their forever homes. Please note that this position is for a Caretaker between two different shelter locations. We are looking for a team member. Someone willing to love each animal, and work together with your colleagues to create a positive work environment.
Part Time Up to 34 Hours.
Hours/Days vary. Must be able to work weekends and holidays
Responsibilities and Duties
Applicants Should Be Able To:
Work independently under the instruction of Kennel management
Feed, walk, bathe, and generally care for our great animals
Clean, do laundry, and keep the campus safe and clean for our animals and potential adopters.
Interact with and educate with volunteers and potential adopters.
Bend, lift and carry loads of 25 pounds of more.
Qualifications and Skills
Animal Care experience preferred but not required.
