This Veterinary Technician position typically works 10-hour shifts 4 days/week from 8 am - 6 pm. There is also a possibility for 8-hour shifts 5 days/week from 9 am to 5 pm. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU AS A VETERINARY TECHNICIAN

Our Veterinary Technician is the backbone to our operations at our hospital, and we depend on you to provide exceptional care for our patients and their families to ensure they feel happy, comfortable, and safe in our care. We are in the business of keeping our clients' pets healthy, and we rely on you to assist us in that mission as you help with routine and emergency procedures including working side-by-side our trained vets. You are even keeled and keep a calm atmosphere for our patients and their families. You also assist in getting labs and testing completed as we prep and monitor animals for surgery. With acute attention to detail, you are mindful to keep a clean and organized workspace to ensure all resources are maintained and accessible. • Prior experience with catheter placement, ear cytology, blood draws, anesthesia monitoring, and x-rays
• Physically able to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to comfortably restrain small to large cats and dogs
