Animal Technician jobs in Scranton, PA

Plains Animal Hospital is in search of a veterinary technician to join our busy, growing practice that provides medical and surgical services for cats and dogs. Must be able to work well in multi-doctor, fast-paced general practice. Although the ideal candidate will have experience with animal restraint, venipuncture, sample collection and handling, client communication, laboratory procedures, etc. we are willing to train motivated applicants. We are looking for someone with a positive, upbeat attitude who is willing to learn and grow with our practice. Must be able to work every other Saturday. We are not open nights or holidays and we offer a very flexible work schedule. We offer a very competitive compensation package including health and dental insurance, retirement plan, vacation time and paid holidays. Starting wages are based on previous experience.
