We are seeking a full time Veterinary Technician to join our team!

Cape Veterinary Hospital is a privately owned practice located in Cape May Courthouse, NJ.  We are a growing mixed animal practice comprised of a team of veterinary technicians, assistants, and doctors dedicated to offering their patients the best of care and developing a culture of excellence. The role of a primary care technician will include but is not limited to obtaining medical histories and helping with the flow of appointments throughout the day, taking radiographs, performing venipuncture, injections (SQ/IM/IV), ability to properly restrain patients, conduct ear cleanings, nail trims, and anal gland expression, client education and more! Dependability, punctuality, flexibility, great communication skills, compassion and attention to detail are all expected from the successful candidate.

Physical Requirements: This job is physically active and requires frequent bending and standing for long periods of time. It requires routine lifting and restraining animals. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. regularly.

Compensation and Benefits:  Compensation is based on experience and skill level.  Health Insurance, 401K, continuing education allowance, discounted veterinary care for your own pets, vacation, uniform allowance and room for advancement.  Some evenings and weekends are required.  CVT preferred, but not required.
