Animal Technician, Sr. jobs in Lancaster, PA

Conestoga Animal Hospital is excited to add a Full or Part Time Veterinary Technician to our dedicated team! We are a fast paced, detailed oriented three-doctor private practice located in Ephrata, PA. We provide quality routine medical, surgical, and dental care to companion animals. This position has potential for full-time hours with benefits if desired.

The perfect team member will be confident in assisting in surgery, have knowledge of x-ray and proper positioning, have experience with in-clinic laboratory equipment, be able to place IV catheters, draw blood and run bloodwork, monitor surgical recovery patients, communicate with the veterinarians, clients, and other team members, have experience with proper animal handling and restraint, is motivated to keep a clean and organized hospital and work area, understands the importance of client education, and is a supportive and positive team member. Requirements

• Certified Veterinary Technician
• 2 years of veterinary industry experience if not already certified
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
• Experience with proper animal handling and restrain
• Understands the importance of client education
• Able to multi-task efficiently
• Excellent communication skills
• Supportive and positive team player
