Graceful Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician, that is able to work weekends, extended hours, and some holidays.

Minimum of 3-4 years of hands on experience in Veterinary field is preferred. Use of Avimark veterinary software is a PLUS.

Salary: TBD, pending experience

Technicians must have the skills to be competent in the following duties. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ability to demonstrate mastery of all routine veterinary technician skills.
• Assist Veterinarians in medical procedures using proper restraint; know how to restrain fractious patients.
• Perform vitals of animals including T/P/R, as well as provide treatments/medications intravenously, orally, and subcutaneously.
• Efficiently draw blood on patients and place IV catheters.
• Knowledge of surgical equipment and ability to setup and assist the doctor during surgeries.
• Induce anesthesia and intubate patient.
• Monitor patients under anesthesia.
• Basic Tech Duties
• Caring for pets, educating and communicating with owners

Registered/Licensed Veterinary Technician a PLUS but not required.

Bilingual a PLUS

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
