Annual Gift Director - Healthcare plans and implements the healthcare organization's campaign for monetary aid in annual gifts from corporations, outside agencies, and other donors. Assigns specific charitable donation campaigns to Annual Gift Coordinators. Being an Annual Gift Director - Healthcare is responsible for attracting and retaining prospective donors, monitoring programs, and analyzing past donations. Oversees annual giving revenue and expense goals and evaluates the effectiveness of a variety of solicitation programs. Additionally, Annual Gift Director - Healthcare requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Annual Gift Director - Healthcare manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Annual Gift Director - Healthcare typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Interim HealthCare of West Michigan is a locally owned and operated leader in post-acute care services in West Michigan.
We are now seeking Hospice Companion Volunteers to serve within our growing Hospice Division. This is an unpaid volunteer role.
Your impact will be felt by both patient and their family members, as you offer the gift of your presence and friendship.
Your Volunteer Role
- Read to your patient, lend a smile, listen to another's life-journey, share the joy of music, a favorite show, or play a game; companionship is a powerful gift!
- If you desire a more behind-the-scenes roll, you can engage as an administrative volunteer at our Corporate Hospice to give a hand as office team support
- Inquire about other volunteer opportunities as well such as Activities or Bereavement Assistant, Animal Therapy, Licensed Massage Therapist, Salon Service or Music
- This is a flexible role, and whatever time you have to give is appreciated and will be accommodated

Volunteer Responsibilities
- After being contacted, fill out the official application and background check form
- Participate in an interview process
- Participate in an volunteer orientation and training
- Spend time serving your assigned patient or fulfilling administrative duties
- Communicate consistently and regularly with your Volunteer Coordinator
- Documentation in EMR
- Be Dependable, and Committed
Volunteer Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Reliable transportation with valid state driver's license and current car insurance
- Kind, Compassionate, Reliable, and Emotionally mature
