Annual Gift Director - Healthcare plans and implements the healthcare organization's campaign for monetary aid in annual gifts from corporations, outside agencies, and other donors. Assigns specific charitable donation campaigns to Annual Gift Coordinators. Being an Annual Gift Director - Healthcare is responsible for attracting and retaining prospective donors, monitoring programs, and analyzing past donations. Oversees annual giving revenue and expense goals and evaluates the effectiveness of a variety of solicitation programs. Additionally, Annual Gift Director - Healthcare requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Annual Gift Director - Healthcare manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager.     The Director of Nursing (DON) will be responsible for the clinical operations of the skilled nursing facility. In this leadership role, the DON will manage, supervise, and coordinate all nursing staff top quality care of residents, and clinical compliance.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Direct, oversee, and evaluate all nursing staff
    • Promote the philosophy, mission, and administrative policies of the Company
    • Oversee department budgets and monitor expenditures
    • Resolve issues and deficiencies when needed
    • Collaborate with other departments and professionals to streamline operations
    • Maintain high standards of care for all patients
    • Provide care using infection control measures that protect both the staff and the patient
    • Manage patients’ data and medical records as confidential records
    • Develop, document, and implement the plan of care
    • Communicate effectively and courteously with doctors, patients, and family members about patient health
    • Training and onboarding new nursing staff
    • Provide ongoing education classes
    • Implement new procedures and training Nurses on policies
    • Participate in the QAPI activities
    • Perform on-call responsibilities and provides on-call service to patients and their families as assigned
    • Assume responsibility of the facility in the absence of facility Administrator 

     

    Requirements and qualifications:

     

    • Active and unencumbered RN license in state of hire
    • 2 years experience as a DON in SNF
    • Demonstrated history of successful survey (clinical aspect)
