Annual Gift Director - Healthcare plans and implements the healthcare organization's campaign for monetary aid in annual gifts from corporations, outside agencies, and other donors. Assigns specific charitable donation campaigns to Annual Gift Coordinators. Being an Annual Gift Director - Healthcare is responsible for attracting and retaining prospective donors, monitoring programs, and analyzing past donations. Oversees annual giving revenue and expense goals and evaluates the effectiveness of a variety of solicitation programs. Additionally, Annual Gift Director - Healthcare requires a bachelor's degree. Job Summary
The Director of Annual Giving partners with the Director of Development and Evelyn Rubenstein JCC department staff for facilitating and implementing the J’s annual campaigns including but not limited to Patron of the Arts, JCC Maccabi Games and Meals on Wheels. Portfolio will also include new grant and corporate opportunities. Primary responsibilities also include on-going donor stewardship and cultivation of new donors.
JOB SPECIFIC EXPECTATIONS
1. Develop, lead and implement fundraising appeals which are part of an Annual Campaign. Independently, and with the support of the Director of Development:

3. Perform prospect research on foundations and corporations to evaluate new potential grant opportunities and liaise with program staff on submission of grants.
4. Identify, cultivate, solicit and/or steward prospective and existing donors.
5. Manage a portfolio of prospects and actively develop prospect list to grow donor portfolio.
6. Work collaboratively with Development team and other Evelyn Rubenstein JCC staff and volunteers.
7. Stay current on local and regional fundraising climate and trends.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

AGENCY EXPECTATIONS
Minimum requirement of a bachelor’s degree.
1-3 years of related fund raising and development experience.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Knowledge and experience with management and donor stewardship software with preference for NPSP Salesforce.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Must be detail oriented, able to prioritize, multitask, with the capability to handle multiple individual requests.
Time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines.
Interact professionally with all levels of internal and external personnel, team oriented.
Willingness to be flexible and available to work occasional evenings and weekends as required for special events.
