Annual Gift Director - Healthcare plans and implements the healthcare organization's campaign for monetary aid in annual gifts from corporations, outside agencies, and other donors. Assigns specific charitable donation campaigns to Annual Gift Coordinators. Being an Annual Gift Director - Healthcare is responsible for attracting and retaining prospective donors, monitoring programs, and analyzing past donations. Oversees annual giving revenue and expense goals and evaluates the effectiveness of a variety of solicitation programs. Additionally, Annual Gift Director - Healthcare requires a bachelor's degree.     Job Purpose:
    The Assistant Director will design and implement a multi-faceted engagement and fundraising program for students, recent graduates, and alumni and promote a culture of philanthropy as part of our Jesuit tradition. Key components for this position will include planning and organizing targeted events and writing communications, managing alumni and student volunteers, soliciting gifts to meet annual giving goals.

    Essential Duties:
    • Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive engagement plan that incorporates alumni and annual giving programming into each stage of student to alumni matriculation, beginning with orientation and transitioning through the five-year reunion

    • Develop content and concept for annual giving direct mail, crowdfunding, email and social media appeals; coordinate all marketing, production and web updates related to student and recent graduate programming

    • Design and manage crowdfunding campaigns for campus projects, collaborating with Advancement colleagues and campus partners to insure accurate gift allocation and recognition

    • Develop partnerships with campus colleagues to enhance the presence of Advancement in existing student initiatives, such as clubs, career fairs, student conferences, residence life, and student programming

    • Plan, promote and staff annual events designed to educate and engage students and recent graduates, including, Alumni Society-sponsored events, senior class gift activities and regional alumni gatherings

    • Attend quarterly Alumni Society Advisory Board meetings and serve as staff liaison to
    committees of the Board to lead volunteer initiatives and communications, and incorporate committee work into Advancement planning

    • Promote annual giving and post-graduate engagement opportunities to the student body; identify new, and manage existing methods, for collecting contact information, soliciting senior class gift.

    Additional Skills Required:
    • Ability to travel as needed; night and weekend work involved

    • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

    • Strong organization and interpersonal skills

    • Discretion and ability to interact with high-level donors and a diverse constituency base

    • Must be able to respect, contribute to, and participate in the Universitys Catholic and Jesuit mission

    Minimum Education Requirements:
    Bachelors Degree

    Preferred Education:

    Minimum Job Experience Requirements:
    - A minimum of two years in the areas of fundraising, advancement, or annual giving- Project coordination/management experience- Excellent communications skills, including social media, writing and presentation skills

    Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Night and weekend work involved.
