The right person will possess the ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with families, residents, the community, administration, and outside services; be a self-starter; love our residents; be creative in their planning and executing of activities; and have a positive compassionate attitude.
This is a full time position, the days and hours may vary from time to time.
Responsibilities include:
· Planning and executing life enrichment activities for our residents.
· Encouraging residents to participate in group and one on one activities.
· Organize monthly outings and special events for our residents.
· Coordinate and work with community members, volunteers, families, schools, and hospice organizations to provide fun and diverse activities for our residents.
· Conducting or overseeing the scheduled activities and ensuring they have all supplies needed for each activity.
