    Department Statement

    The Office of Annual Giving helps alumni, families, students, and friends contribute directly to the Colgate experience through support of financial aid, student life initiatives, academic programs, research projects, the arts, athletics, and more. The Annual Giving team is charged with boosting the alumni giving rate, meeting Colgate Fund goals ($8.8M in FY23) and driving Presidents' Circle membership including family and student membership. They achieve this goal through marketing, volunteer engagement, outreach, and events.
    Accountabilities
    The Assistant /Associate Director of Annual Giving will serve as the primary point person for all annual giving data analytics and marketing project management, which include:
    • conducting analysis on all annual giving initiatives
    • providing data insights to inform future annual giving strategy
    • primary annual giving administrator for email marketing platform, crowdfunding, and texting campaigns, working in close collaboration with advancement-wide platforms administrator
    • annual giving liaison with Colgate's central Communications team to ensure marketing projects are completed on time and successfully, requiring a great level of detail and organization

    Professional Experience/ Qualifications

    • A minimum of one year experience in fundraising, sales, marketing or non-profit work is required
    • The ability to handle confidential material with utmost discretion
