Reporting to the Chief Nrursing Officer, the ED Nursing Director will oversee a clinical and administrative operations for a full range of Emergency Personnel. This role will be supported by two Emergency Room Assistant Managers, and an ED Manager, so you’ll be able to focus on actually leading the department.
Administratively, the Nursing Director will help control the budget and fiscal performance for the Emergency Department. You’ll take center stage in evaluating staff competencies, addressing skill gaps, and working with the necessary business partners to make sure Emergency Services is running smoothly. As a clinical leader, you will be the accountable for assuring that Emergency Department RNs, Triage and Admitting Nurses, CENs, and support staff are all following best practices and clinical protocol.
