FUNCTION
Ensure the best possible customer experience for all customers including: Vera Bradley eCommerce Customers, Specialty Retail Partners, Sales Consultants and Store Associates, through order management and coordinating customer service needs with other functions as required. Serve as customer contact, representing Vera Bradley by telephone, chat, email, text and/or mail including but not limited to: placing an order, checking order status, verifying pricing, checking product availability, answering product questions and processing secure payments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Note: Other duties may be assigned)

- Deliver prompt and professional solutions for customer inquiries via phone, email, chat and SMS
- Provide courteous and professional customer service while exemplifying Vera Bradley’s core values to all customers
- Evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customer’s experience around products, packaging, shipping, service or billing methods
- Make outbound calls for monthly campaigns, follow-up and upselling as needed
- Maintain a high accuracy level in data entry of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, customer contact information, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken for future reference
- Maintain a balance between company policy and customer benefit in decision making; Handling issues in the best interest of both customer and company
- Assist Retail Partners with promotional questions, reports, invoices and pack slips referencing VBW (Vera Bradley
- Wholesale)
- Prepare Return Authorization paperwork and print return labels through UPS
- Maintain broad knowledge of all company products, services and promotions as well as individual and department metrics and KPI’s
- Work with Customer Service Specialists and Team Leads as needed
- Assist Customer Service Supervisor with special projects as requested
- Actively participate in the training process for fellow Associates as needed
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High school graduate
- 2 years customer service experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

- Proficient computer skills with the ability to adapt and learn new software
- Strong typing skills, 10 key experience and PC proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office software
- Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent organization and follow through skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain good rapport with internal and external customers and handle situations with confidence, tact and resourcefulness
- Flexible, adaptable with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast paced office environment
- Knowledge of Vera Bradley customer service processes, systems and customers preferred
- Extensive Microsoft D365 knowledge preferred
- Possess a strong work ethic and team player mentality

- Office environment. Utilizing an office desk – sitting, reading, listening, or speaking with the ability to move intermittently throughout the day

- Ability to operate office equipment, including computers, copiers, fax machines and phones
- Home internet connection and suitable home office environment
