    Service Station Supervisor

    JOB DESCRIPTION:



    Starting Pay Rate: $23.91 - $28.13/HR, DOE

    Under the general direction of the Service Station Manager the Service Station Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations as they relate to the Chumash gas station and its associated convenience store.


    JOB REQUIREMENTS:



    Primary Duties, Responsibilities, and Tasks:

    • Supervises all daily operations, including cost control, delivery fulfillment, Team Member management and quality control.
    • Manages the convenience store and other retail activities associated with fuel enterprises, including store configuration and pricing.
    • Participates in the negotiation of agreements related to the fuel enterprise.
    • Provides regular inventory status updates.
    • Assists in budget preparation and management.
    • Responsible for timely and accurate submissions of Team Member timekeeping reports to payroll.
    • Responsible for the accurate recording and tracking of team member records, such as Personnel Action Forms and other internal eforms as needed.
    • Responsible for preparing work schedules for staff.
    • Prepare sales reports, shift end reports, reconcile accounts daily/weekly and other reports at management requested requirements.
    • Trains, mentors, develops, coaches, resolves problems, provides open communication vehicles, and recommends disciplinary actions as appropriate.

    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
    • Two years prior experience in a retail sales environment is preferred.
    • Compliance with state ABC requirements within 60 days of hire to sell alcohol.
    • Compliance with state requirements within 60 days of hire to sell tobacco.
    • Completion of the SERV safe certification for food safety within 60 days of hire.
    • Completion of the state required fuel safety program by Paradise Services within 60 days of hire.
    • Intermediate computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft applications, e-mail and Internet.
    • Willingness to work flexible schedules in a 24/7 work environment, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
    • Native American hiring preference applies.

    • The Team Member is frequently required to sit and use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel.
    • The Team Member is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell.
    • The Team Member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.

    Working Conditions:

    • While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is occasionally exposed to tobacco smoke, moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.
    • The Team Member is usually subject to inside environmental conditions, which provide protection from weather conditions, but not necessarily from temperature changes.
    • The Team Member is occasionally subject to outside environmental conditions and to wet and/or humid conditions.
    • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
