This position is responsible for the oversight of administrative support staff to meet client needs. Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business. A minimum of three years of experience is preferred. Required abilities include: strong computer skills and proficiency within a Windows environment, handling of numerous projects simultaneously, possess good interpersonal skills, have a thorough understanding of accounting theory, and possess strong analytical skills.
Fiscal management skills include: Federal and state grant review, billing and reporting per grant requirement, agency budget preparation to include government budget requirements, and oversight of yearly agency audit. Other duties include: monthly bank reconciliation and cash management, journal entries and general ledger maintenance, financial statement preparation and presentation, receivable and grant revue recognition, payroll and accounts payable.
