Annuities Director (New Business) directs the development of new accounts and business relationships through sales, marketing, and referrals. Reviews applications and contracts and ensures that all transactions comply with state and federal regulations. Being an Annuities Director (New Business) stays abreast of any changes to laws and regulations which affect the activities of the business. Responsible for staffing and training of unit and ensures staff has full knowledge of all current regulations and provides prompt and efficient service to customers. Additionally, Annuities Director (New Business) requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Annuities Director (New Business) manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be an Annuities Director (New Business) typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Moiré Marketing Partners, a strategic branding and design agency, seeks an experienced business development professional to lead the firm’s marketing and growth initiatives.
Overview:
The ideal candidate will oversee the success and growth of existing accounts and identify new companies and/or organizations that can benefit from our services. This person will be a passionate self-starter, detail-orientated, and flexible. Industry contacts are a major plus.
Responsibilities:
- Identify business development opportunities and manage the process from concept to delivery.
- Plan, supervise and participate in events on behalf of the firm, such as trade shows, conferences, seminars, etc.
- Research and analyze markets and conduct competitive intelligence.
- Meet mutually agreed-upon sales quotas and targets.
Qualifications:
- 10 years business development experience.
- 4 years experience in an agency environment.
- Solid understanding of creative, branding and digital marketing and be able to "speak the language."
- Proven track record of success.
- Takes an ownership approach to projects.
- Articulate, organized, and detailed.
- Self-starter, motivated, ambitious and driven.
- Experience writing proposals and sales materials.
- Experience in Higher Ed, Associations or Professional Services a plus
