Annuities Representative (New Business) is responsible for the annuities application process. Assists applicants and checks forms for completeness and accuracy. Being an Annuities Representative (New Business) ensures compliance with all regulations and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations which pertain to annuities applications. Reviews all fund transfers such as tax-free fund transfers, direct transfers and direct rollovers for completeness and compliance. Additionally, Annuities Representative (New Business) is responsible for responding to inquiries from clients, agents, financial institutions and internal departments. May require a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Requires National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) license. The Annuities Representative (New Business) works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed.     Primary Responsibilities
    • Meet or exceed assigned sales quota by executing the sales cycle, setting up closing appointments 
    • Participates in professional associations, hosts lunch-and-learns, and promotes continuing education (CE) courses
    • Met sales objectives by maintaining existing customers and building new customer relationships 
    • Compile and maintain decision-maker information and identify “Target 25” (Top 25 prospects to develop into clients)
    • Provide Owners and Sales and Marketing Managers with one-on-one meetings (closing appointments)
    • Increase sales territory revenue by consistently achieving and exceeding sales territory goals
    • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
    • Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
    • Set specific objectives and report on ROI
    • Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos, and news)
    • Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
    • Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales, and customer service to ensure brand consistency
    • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner, and monitor customer reviews
    • Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures, and blog layout)
    • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
    • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications
     
    Position Requirements
    • A minimum of two years of progressively responsible business-to-business sales experience
    • Proven track record with sales and marketing within the service sector
    • Strong business and financial background and process-and-results-driven attitude
    • Experience in the commercial cleaning and restoration or insurance industry is preferred
    • Working knowledge of current business software technologies is required
    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business or equivalent experience
    • Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law 
    • Proven work experience as a Social media manager
    • Hands-on experience in content management
    • Excellent copywriting skills
    • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video)
    • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics
    • Knowledge of online marketing channels
    • Familiarity with web design
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Analytical and multitasking skills
    • BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field
