Annuities Representative (New Business) is responsible for the annuities application process. Assists applicants and checks forms for completeness and accuracy. Being an Annuities Representative (New Business) ensures compliance with all regulations and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations which pertain to annuities applications. Reviews all fund transfers such as tax-free fund transfers, direct transfers and direct rollovers for completeness and compliance. Additionally, Annuities Representative (New Business) is responsible for responding to inquiries from clients, agents, financial institutions and internal departments. May require a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Requires National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) license. Summary::
Drive revenue by managing relationships at every stage of the buyer’s journey. The goal of a New Business Development Specialist is to develop the skills necessary to take a prospect/buyer through the entire sales process. Once New Business Development Specialist demonstrates the skills to consistently convert prospects they will serve as the primary liaison between customers and KOS: perform business reviews, field account questions, identify opportunities to expand relationship.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Identify and convert prospective accounts into Knight Office Solutions customers
· Document coverage of assigned territory
· Leverage prospecting information gathered from field operations, third party databases, social media, and other sources
· Maintain proper database hygiene: log activity, classify accounts, identify points of contact, update lead status, maintain and up to date forecast
· Attend weekly networking events assigned by Sales Manager
· Train customers on key operations
· Perform administrative tasks: develop proposals, complete sales order documentation, track mileage and other expenses
· Other duties as assigned
