Highly respected retina practice in Metairie, LA seeks a Front Desk/Retention Specialist.
The individual will perform various clerical duties such as answering telephones, taking messages, scheduling appointments, managing doctor templates and schedules, copying materials, and filing charts. Good communication and people skills are necessary. Knowledge of medical terminologies and insurance practices preferred. Computer skills and use of office equipment are required.
Travel to satellite offices (Gulfport, Mandeville, and New Orleans) will be required, and hours may vary. This is a full-time position with benefits, including health insurance, paid holidays, and vacation/PTO.
