Annuities Supervisor (New Business) supervises a group of Annuities Representatives responsible for handling the needs of new applicants. Ensures compliance with all regulations and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations which pertain to annuities applications. Being an Annuities Supervisor (New Business) is responsible for handling the more complicated client service issues such as contract exceptions or complaints referred by staff. May be responsible for developing or improving annuities application processes in order to facilitate the acquisition of new business. Additionally, Annuities Supervisor (New Business) requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Annuities Supervisor (New Business) supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be an Annuities Supervisor (New Business) typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     • A bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business, or related field. Or combination of proven experience and success within a similar role.
    • Successfully demonstrate sales techniques, marketing, and communication.
    • Prior experience selling similar manufacturing services in diverse markets.
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and customer service skills.
    • Good time management and analytical skills.
    • Marketing experience including but not limited to social media, websites, and printed literature.
    • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and an internal drive to meet set goals.

    · Identifying potential customers and generating new business opportunities.

    · Contacting and qualifying potential customers, managing leads through the sales pipeline by setting appointments, following up on leads, and tracking progress towards meeting sales goals.

    • Developing sales strategies to draw in potential buyers or to solicit new potential customers.
    • Initiating contact with potential customers through cold-calling or responding to inquiries generated from marketing efforts
    • Creating relationships with customers to identify their potential needs and qualify their interests and viability to drive sales.
    • Presenting product information to customers once you have identified their needs.
    • Following up with potential customers who expressed interest but did not purchase any goods or services.
    • Performing regular follow-ups and facilitating communication with existing customers to ensure their satisfaction and identify new potential needs.
    • Collaborating with the company’s leadership to ensure goals and targets are met.

    · Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. You should also demonstrate the ability to set goals, meet deadlines and have a strong drive to attain goals.

    • Develop and/or lead marketing efforts including but not limited to social media, websites, and printed literature.

    · Ability to travel independently as needed to facilitate face to face customer interactions. Up to 75% of the time.

    · Job duties are not limited to those listed and may be asked to perform similar or incidental work of a comparable, lower, or higher level.
