Annuities Supervisor (New Business) supervises a group of Annuities Representatives responsible for handling the needs of new applicants. Ensures compliance with all regulations and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations which pertain to annuities applications. Being an Annuities Supervisor (New Business) is responsible for handling the more complicated client service issues such as contract exceptions or complaints referred by staff. May be responsible for developing or improving annuities application processes in order to facilitate the acquisition of new business.     The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for establishing, administering, and directing the New Journeys team—a self-contained clinical unit dedicated to delivering treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to clients with severe and persistent mental illnesses. This role involves supervising and evaluating the multidisciplinary team, ensuring excellent service delivery while also maintaining a minimal caseload as a practicing clinician.

    New Journeys is a team-based, recovery-oriented model serving Transition Age Youth (TAY) and adults between the ages of 15-40 with diagnoses meeting the criteria for Seriously Emotionally Disturbed (SED) or Seriously Mentally Ill (SMI), including those experiencing the first episode of psychosis.



    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Direct the daily clinical operations of the New Journeys team, ensuring appropriate coverage for day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
    • Lead organizational staff meetings and treatment planning sessions.
    • Coordinate client admission processes, initial assessments, and treatment plans in collaboration with the psychiatrist.
    • Oversee comprehensive assessments of clients, including psychiatric history, mental status, physical health, and social development.
    • Act as the primary contact for clients and families, providing education, support, and a recovery-oriented approach.
    • Provide and coordinate outreach and crisis intervention services.
    • Participate in staff recruitment, hiring, and performance supervision.
    • Supervise chart management for clients, ensuring compliance with agency policies and regulations.
    • Conduct quality-assurance activities and program reviews.
    • Maintain program policies and procedures.
    • Initiate and maintain relationships with community resources, human services organizations, and other stakeholders.
    • Conduct clinical assessments and deliver direct clinical treatment, rehabilitation, and support services.
    • Perform on-call duty for crisis intervention and staff supervision.
    • Promote a Trauma Informed Care work environment and ensure safety.

     

    Minimum Qualifications:

    EDUCATION: Master’s Degree in Psychology, social services, or a mental health field.

    EXPERIENCE: Intermediate (minimum 3 years of job-related experience)

    This position requires driving clients in a personal vehicle on behalf of the agency; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a motor vehicle history check, possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in the state of Washington, and have reliable, insured transportation.

    LICENSURE: Agency Affiliated Counselor

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

    EXPERIENCE: Specialist (minimum 5 years of job-related experience)

    Business-rated insurance may be required if performing outreach duties.

    LICENSURE: Washington License (LICSW, LMFT or LMHC)
