Annuities Supervisor (New Business) supervises a group of Annuities Representatives responsible for handling the needs of new applicants. Ensures compliance with all regulations and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations which pertain to annuities applications. Being an Annuities Supervisor (New Business) is responsible for handling the more complicated client service issues such as contract exceptions or complaints referred by staff. May be responsible for developing or improving annuities application processes in order to facilitate the acquisition of new business. Additionally, Annuities Supervisor (New Business) requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Annuities Supervisor (New Business) supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be an Annuities Supervisor (New Business) typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.   • Essential Duties and Accountabilities: 

    • Process electronic new business files, payment files, update files, withdrawal files, inventory, and reconciliation files
    • Follow best practices procedures to ensure that all data is entered accurately, catching potential workflow errors prior to escalation and taking appropriate steps to resolve
    • Communicate regularly with programming department to notify of changes in the content or delivery of the files
    • Work closely with client services and general manager of each location, if applicable
    • Maintain detailed documentation for data processes, tracking and logging all work completed
    • Other duties as assigned

    Education/Experience/Minimum Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma/GED
    • FACS or Collect One workflow knowledge preferred
    • FACS Enable processing knowledge preferred

    Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports and business correspondence, and technical documentation. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leadership.

    Mathematical Skills: Ability to understand and interpret data through advanced mathematical abilities. 

    Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve problems effectively and efficiently through statistical reasoning.

    Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge of spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
