Annuities Supervisor (New Business) supervises a group of Annuities Representatives responsible for handling the needs of new applicants. Ensures compliance with all regulations and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations which pertain to annuities applications. Being an Annuities Supervisor (New Business) is responsible for handling the more complicated client service issues such as contract exceptions or complaints referred by staff. May be responsible for developing or improving annuities application processes in order to facilitate the acquisition of new business. Additionally, Annuities Supervisor (New Business) requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Annuities Supervisor (New Business) supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be an Annuities Supervisor (New Business) typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Launch That is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Annuities and Insurance Consultant to consult with our internal Annuity.org team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in providing strategic advice, education, and support in navigating the intricacies of the insurance industry, with a specific focus on annuities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Consultation and Guidance: Provide expert advice and consultation on annuities, life insurance, and related financial products. Assist clients in reviewing term sheets, evaluating product offerings, and developing strategies to meet their financial objectives.
    • Education and Training: Conduct training sessions to educate internal teams on the nuances of annuity products, commission structures, and compliance requirements. Enhance understanding and proficiency in selling and managing annuities effectively.
    • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including SEC, FINRA, and state insurance regulations. Review current practices and procedures, and advise on best practices for maintaining compliance and mitigating regulatory risks.
    • Agent Dynamics: Educate on the differences between captive agents and independent agents. Provide insights into recruiting, training, and managing a network of agents to effectively sell annuities and insurance products.
    • Joint Ventures: Facilitate the establishment of joint ventures and strategic partnerships within the insurance industry. Advise on legal and operational aspects, including structuring agreements and compliance considerations.
    • Market Research and Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the annuities and insurance landscape. Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.

    Qualifications:

    • Series 6, 7, and 63 licenses required; Series 24 license preferred.
    • 7 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on annuities and life insurance.
    • Proven track record of success in Broker/Dealer operations, IMO management, or as a business owner in the insurance sector.
    • In-depth knowledge of annuity products, including fixed, variable, and indexed annuities.
    • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements, including SEC, FINRA, and state insurance regulations.
    • Executive leadership experience.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct market research and make strategic recommendations.
    • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
