Annuity Services Director directs and oversees all aspects of the annuity customer service program. Provides leadership on the administration of annuity products including distribution, asset transfers, death claim approvals to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Being an Annuity Services Director maintains appropriate staffing to ensure high-level quality service and ensures hired staff has the education necessary and is provided the appropriate training to keep up-to-date on regulations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Annuity Services Director typically reports to top management. Typically requires passing Series 6 (IR) , 26 (IP), and 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law) qualifying exams. The Annuity Services Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     We are excited to bring on an Annuity Case Coordinator to join the New Business team supporting the Insurance Operations organization in a work from home environment.

    Background Details
    As an Annuity Case Coordinator, you will be responsible for processing new business applications. You will process increasingly complex data and financial transactions, ensuring all information is complete and in good order. You will communicate with financial advisors and/or wholesalers to provide not in good order (NIGO) information for pending business. Additionally, you will share general knowledge across the team to build technical capabilities across the business area. If this sounds like a role for you, please read on!
    What you'll be doing
    • You will process increasingly complex data and financial transactions in accordance with established procedures and guidelines independently, in a timely manner and meeting departmental quality/production standards. You will ensure the information is complete and in good order. You will also create and maintain up to date procedural documentation as needed.
    • You will communicate verbally and in written form effectively with applicable internal and external stakeholders to obtain increasingly complex needed information while maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions. You will also communicate regularly with management on recognized trends of issues and/or concerns.
    • You will resolve increasingly complex customer contract discrepancies by investigating documentation and determining applicable adjustments. You may create new contracts as needed.
    • You will provide customer service to internal and/or external stakeholders, recognizing what needs to be done to meet customer needs and demonstrates flexibility and responsiveness to meet customer needs.
    • You will share knowledge and information and/or enable less experienced team members to perform their assignments.
    • You will recognize general issues/concerns and identify/recommend process improvements to positively influence the team and quality.
    What we’re looking for
    Must-have experience (Required):
    • High School Diploma or GED or minimum Associate degree in lieu of required experience.
    • 0-1 Years for candidates with an Associate’s degree or above, 0-1 year of Client Customer Support and Operations experience that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position.
    • 3-5 years of Client Customer Support and Operations experience aligned with the responsibilities for this position.
    • Ability to work with others in a fast-paced, team environment.
    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style.
    • Ability to use sound judgement and discretion regarding confidential information.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and general computer navigation skills.

    Nice-to have Experience (Preferred):
    • Annuity knowledge and experience.
    • Solid relationship management skills with internal and/or external clients (e.g. management, peers, colleagues, customers).

    Pay Range: $22.60- $30.58

    Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
