Appeal Resolution Specialist jobs in Parkersburg, WV
Appeal Resolution Specialist logs, tracks, and processes appeals and grievances. Sets up and maintains case files for each grievance and collects the information required by organizational policies and applicable regulations. Being an Appeal Resolution Specialist conducts research and coordination needed to evaluate, process, respond to, and refer or close appeals. May require an associate degree or equivalent. Additionally, Appeal Resolution Specialist typically reports to a supervisor. The Appeal Resolution Specialist works under moderate supervision. JOB SUMMARY
Under general supervision, responsible for complex repairs and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, HVAC, and plumbing systems for the Health System in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operating manuals, department policies, along with applicable codes and regulations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: Three years of directly related experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification: At least one of the following trades are required for the position:
- Current West Virginia Journeyman or Master Electrician License.
- Universal EPA Certification. (It is achieved by completing Type 1, Type 2, and Type 3 categories.)
- Current State of West Virginia HVAC Technician License.
- Current West Virginia Journeyman or Master Plumbing License.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Heavy Work: Frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 lbs. with a maximum lifting of 100 lbs.
