Appeal Resolution Specialist jobs in Poughkeepsie, NY
Appeal Resolution Specialist logs, tracks, and processes appeals and grievances. Sets up and maintains case files for each grievance and collects the information required by organizational policies and applicable regulations. Being an Appeal Resolution Specialist conducts research and coordination needed to evaluate, process, respond to, and refer or close appeals. May require an associate degree or equivalent. Additionally, Appeal Resolution Specialist typically reports to a supervisor. The Appeal Resolution Specialist works under moderate supervision. The Dispute Resolution Center is seeking a responsible and professional individual to provide transportation for parents and/or children to and from coached visitations between parents and their children at designated visit locations throughout Orange and Sullivan County. Qualifications:
- Valid and clean NYS Driver License
- Experience working with low-income families
- Knowledge of car seat safety and proper installation is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Ensure safety of children during transportation
- Complete written reports of transportation start and end times and miles driven
- Maintain regular communication with the Visit Coach Coordinator and coaches
- Maintain monthly expense sheet with receipts
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
